Sage opened January of 1997 in Dunwoody, Georgia with a second location
opening Spring 2001 in Buckhead. In May of 2003 Sage left the Dunwoody
location and transplanted to Midtown. With an urban setting and
hip culture, customers sought the affordable fashions, selective
merchandise, and personal attention as an alternative to traditional
department stores or pricey boutiques. Now, 9 years later, customers
continue to value the Sage merchandise selection that is ever changing
with weekly shipments of hot new styles that will keep you coming
back for more. Step into Sage and step into a jewel box filled with
skirts, tops, jeans, pants, dresses, shoes, jewelry accessories.
Trendy fashions line the walls and display tables throughout the
funky boutique display the latest styles. A perky and professional
sales staff will happily assist with sizes and guide patrons to
dressing rooms, pulling the privacy curtain and ultimately surrounding
them in glamorous drapes. Upon request, gift items are wrapped in
little white boxes.
Sage’s mission is to “offer the hippest, quality merchandise
with specialty store prices and nothing over $100, combined with
‘Fifth Avenue’ customer service.”

Founded by native Atlantan Shannon Kitchens, Sage boasts two locations
-- Midtown and
Buckhead. Her job description varies from day to day, but buying
and marketing remain her number one focus. She travels to Los Angeles
for monthly visits with vendors and to gather amazing bargains to
stock her shelves. “My goal is to create a welcoming atmosphere,
where people can shop for the latest trends without having to spend
your entire budget on one piece. At Sage, you can buy everything
that you’re seeing in the fashion magazines without the guilt!”
